The Oak Grove Equity Strategy was launched in June 2013 with the long-term investment objective of outperforming the overall stock market while taking less risk. It is a fundamental long/short equities strategy with a long bias. The firm seeks to create in each account a diverse portfolio of companies including well known, blue chip, industry leaders and small/mid-cap niche-oriented companies. Though not limited by sector or region, Oak Grove Management typically invests in U.S. companies within the technology, media, telecom, commercial services, finance, consumer services and retail sectors. Managed accounts are constructed of secular and cyclical value longs. The strategy seeks to identify long-term secular winners with tremendous businesses and management teams to execute strategy. Depending on market conditions Oak Grove Management may add alpha shorts to optimize returns.
